"Jeni Reeves is a native of upstate New York. She is a painter and
children's book illustrator living in Iowa. She has lived a number of
years in Europe and Africa, working in fine and communication arts. A
deep interest in people, places, and history inspires her work. In 1998
she started illustrating books for Carolrhoda Books, Inc."

Jeni's
work has been exhibited in many art exhibits and are held in private
collections. Her unique perspective on illustration is both
insightful and humorous. Jeni has spoken successfully to all age levels
-- in
schools, libraries, and at a variety of conferences.
She and her husband Stuart reside in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where Jeni
continues her work as a fine artist and a children's book illustrator.
