Kathy Feeney is a reader and a writer. She is the author of more than 25 non-fiction children's books including Manatees, Television, and Washington, D. C.

Kathy Feeney earned a degree in
Journalism from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She was
a newspaper reporter for 14 years at the Tampa Tribune and the Stamford
(Connecticut) Advocate. In addition to writing children's books
she continues as a free-lance travel writer.
