"Jeni Reeves is a native of upstate New York. She is a painter and children's book illustrator living in Iowa. She has lived a number of years in Europe and Africa, working in fine and communication arts. A deep interest in people, places, and history inspires her work. In 1998 she started illustrating books for Carolrhoda Books, Inc."
