When Tanya visits a school or library those hearing her speak often want to have an opportunity to take home an autographed book -- and Tanya is always willing to autograph books for those would like one.
|
Autographing Session: All children should have equal access to the author and her time during the day. For that reason most educators arrange to have autographing slips (with a classroom designation) for use. A completed form is placed inside each book which is then left for the author to sign during periods of time between presentations or during a scheduled autographing period -- children are not present at these times. Toward the end of the day, each class room should send a designated person to pick up all the books for students in their classroom and a bookmark or replicated message from the author - -as a keepsake. That way every child takes home a momento fo the day. Upon request we will be happy to send you a facsimile signature for putting on a bookmark to duplicate for each student. Or when the author arrives at the school she will be pleased to date and write a brief note on school letterhead (perhaps a quarter or half sheet of paper) which can then be duplicated for each student.
