These templates are intended to help groups of children to combine their writing to create an invocation on Bill Martin Jr.'s Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do You See? One document is the cover which will be the "envelope" for holding all of the pages (the book's guts). It will be folded in the middle to create a 5x7 booklet. The other pages will be folded so that the blank (or recycled print) side is on the inside of the page and the fold will become the edge of the page, while the "cut" sides will be tucked into the fold of the cover. Print one (for each book to be make), use card stock if possible. Cover Print one (for each book to be made). Title Page to page 2 Print one (for each book to be made). Final Pages Print one for each child who will be creating a "page" for a book. Pages 3-4 Each book should have a title page through page 2, then each child will complete one of teh page 3-4, and each book will end with a final page. Illustrations will need to be generated for the title page and for page 1 (no illustration on page 2). Children should each create the illustrations and fill in the blanks for a copy of pages 3-4. Finish the book by adding the final pages and inserting all pages into the folded cover. | |
